Affirmation #5: I am good enough to be loved.

Inoculates against, “No one loves me,” and counteracts the negativity of that type of thought because it reinforces the feeling that I deserve to be loved, and if someone doesn’t love me that’s okay. These feel-good words are much more powerful to me than saying “Someone loves me.”  The feel-good words give me courage. They make me realize that I cannot expect everyone to love me.

I am good enough to be loved.

I am good enough to be loved.

I am good enough to be loved.

This affirmation (“feel-good words”) is from my forthcoming book, I FEEL GOOD!  It will be available in electronic, print, and audio versions.

I FEEL GOOD!

  • Boosts self-esteem and self-love;
  • Counteracts and inoculates against negative self-talk;
  • Offers a 2-to-3-minute easy-to-do physical practice that’s based on a combination of QiGong, Yoga, and Meditation techniques.

This unique mix of content fosters mindfulness and makes it easier for children and adults to relax, rejoice, and rejuvenate:

1. Saying affirmations three times, each time emphasizing a different part of the affirmation. Repetition builds resonance and fosters internalization.

2. A Build Your Own Affirmations section assures that affirmations are relevant. This section explains a simple 7-step process for writing affirmations that resonate.

3. The Monkey-Away section provides a two-to-three-minute physical practice that calms the mind and body.

4. Deep breathing is encouraged by illustrations and text. Deep breathing provides the body with a significant amount of fresh oxygen. It purges stale carbon dioxide from the lungs. Both the body and the mind are calmer.

I FEEL GOOD! is being vetted prior to publication. I am particularly interested in getting feedback from parents; teachers: librarians; practitioners of Yoga, Qi Gong, Reiki, Meditation, and other healing arts.  It will probably take you between 15 and 30 minutes to peek inside the manuscript and provide feedback. Click here if you would like to open a separate tab, go to a secure site, and participate in that process.
