Come In, Come In is a chatbook that features:
- Seven poems that I wrote and had humorously-illustrated in black-and-white. I would love for you to print the book and give these pages to children to color and discuss;
- Ten poems that are not illustrated, but which have illustration notes. I encourage you to ask children, and students(8th grade through college) to illustrate them.
An update will be issued soon. It will contain poems that I wrote to interesting cartoon images that people have placed in the public domain.
I would love to see any illustrations that were created for the poems in Come In, Come In. If there is sufficient interest, I’ll prepare a special edition that includes my poems, and illustrations and poems inspired by my writing. I hope to circulate these to professional artists, museum directors, and publishers. Perhaps it will help someone to get into a good school or launch a career. Do a good job. Use my contact page to upload your illustrations, poems, etc.
This is a free interactive book.
I’m giving it away, but I still own the copyright to it. You may not copy the .pdf file and charge people for it.
